Severe Weather Conditions Protection Policy

The Severe Weather Warning Protection provides cancellation in the event that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and/or National Weather Service issues or maintains a severe weather watch or warning within 48 hours of a rental by EITHER Renter or Lister and reimbursement of any rental payments and fees if already incurred.

Renter and Lister understand that rental items do not provide protection from weather conditions, primarily sun and rain; however there may be situations, particularly those involving strong winds and lightning, in which the items do not provide protection of Renter and the items may even be damaged. Termination of the rental to avoid possible injury is recommended when severe weather threatens the area where the rented item is being ridden. People must seek shelter during such conditions.

Because it may be difficult to determine if the weather is severe enough to necessitate terminating the rental, it is best to err on the side of caution. In other words, if in doubt, Spinlister Inc. will assist with weather assessment and termination if necessary.

If the Renter and/or Lister decline those services, the Renter and Lister understand that it is their responsibility to be aware of changing weather conditions and to exercise its best judgment. The Renter and Lister should become thoroughly familiar with weather-related safety procedures whether or not they decide to retain the services of Spinlister Inc. for rentals.

The policy ALSO applies to the Renters who are unable to reach their Rental destination because of Severe Weather.

Either party canceling because of Weather will need to provide proof of Severe Weather conditions for the Rental or they could be charged for improper cancellation.
